ROBOC3, Our CCHS robotics team, competed in a pool of 38 robotics teams at the Peachtree District Qualifier held at the University of West GA in Carrollton this past weekend.
Robotics Coach John Williams reported, " We finally got through the inspection and kicked off our first match with a win!"
First Robotics is The Ultimate Sport for the MindTM.
Under strict rules and limited time and resources, teams of high school students are challenged to build industrial-size robots to play a difficult field game in alliance with other teams, designing a team “brand,” and advancing respect and appreciation for STEM within the local community.
RoboC3 Team will be in action again this weekend at the Albany Civics Center. Competition will be Friday and Saturday at the Albany Civic Center.
