Shemaiah Nash

K-2 & High-School Instructional Coach

With more than 20 years of experience in education, Mrs. Nash is dedicated to supporting teachers and cultivating a culture of collaboration, reflection, and continuous growth. As an Instructional Coach, she will partner with educators to build on their strengths, refine instructional practices, and explore strategies that enhance teaching and learning. She believes the best coaching is grounded in trust, meaningful relationships, and a shared commitment to student success.

Mrs. Nash earned a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Grades Education, a Master's degree in Reading Education, and a Specialist degree in Leadership and Administration from Albany State University and Georgia Southwestern State University. She holds teaching certifications in Middle and High School English Language Arts (Grades 6–12), Reading, Social Studies, ESOL, and Gifted Education, along with Coaching and Teacher Support & Coaching Endorsements. Throughout her career, she has served as a classroom teacher, Teacher Mentor, and instructional leader, working alongside educators to strengthen instructional practices and foster professional growth.

Outside of school, Mrs. Nash enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. She values the power of relationships and believes that investing in people is the foundation of every thriving school community.

Guided by Henry Ford's words, "Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right," Mrs. Nash believes that when educators feel supported, empowered, and confident, they are better equipped to inspire meaningful learning and make a lasting impact on the students they serve.
